RMDF-30L Emergency Response Beta CAM – F&J Model RMDF-30L is a lightweight, small foot print, DC voltage powered real-time air monitoring system for beta emitting airborne radio-particulate matter.

Key Beta CAM features:

  1. On-board 4500 mAh NiMH batteries
  2. 100V or 250V AC or 12VDC.
  3. Background subtraction.
  4. Less than 10 lbs.

The RMDF-30L is well suited for emergency response sampling activities that require real-time assessment of airborne particulate radioactivity. Typical operating time from on-board batteries is greater than 5 hours utilizing 47 mm glass fiber filter paper. Typical flow range is 10-30 LPM. The portable lightweight CAM is ideal for homeland security applications and for commercial nuclear power plant emergency kits.

  3. High efficiency low voltage GM detector.
  4. Operator selectable audio and visual alarms.

The RMDF-60L is well suited for emergency response sampling activities that require real-time assessment of airborne particulate radioactivity. Typical operating time from on-board batteries approx. 4 hours utilizing 47 mm glass fiber filter paper. Typical flow range is 30-60 LPM.
